This is a good summary - I think the direct link to Dugin/putin / Russia needs to be made … this is why Dugins daughter was a target for assassination by Ukraine . ( ie its real , a person was assassinated )

Also , it is not important that we believe this can or would happen - what’s important understand is this is what the major individuals in the movement believe and what motivates their actions . It seems like chaos - because destruction is chaotic . It is the intent and not an accident. They feel they are above the law , because where they wish to take this , law as we currently know it will become nonexistent - it will be their new form of law.

Yes, it involves AI takeover - yes, they want to destroy the dollar. no, they don’t care about the common citizen .

Accelerationism? Dark Enlightenment? What could possibly go wrong?

Your recap of how we got here is spot on. With every hour that Musk's minions expand their control, the prospects for righting the ship of state fade. God Help America.

It was over when Musk got his hands on the treasury. He controls everything now, wonder how long people will bury their heads in the sand.

I have read a few stories like this recently and I’m still left pondering, why?

What is the endgame? For what reason might this philosophy makes sense? Is the goal to literally have the poor die off? Is it like hunger games? I just don’t understand how the rich think that the world is better off with masses and masses of unhappy, hungry, angry people, and then sitting at top a huge pile of money. Who is gonna buy their products who is going to do the work? Do they envision

enslaving 99% of humanity? Did they really think that can last especially in the United States where everyone owns guns?

The rationality of the few might be workable but using reason to advocate for the vast majority of humanity to suffer is clearly illogical, no matter what ethos you embrace.

I believe they are aiming for a form of feudalism, where they almost own the populace, it’s a forced servitude, hence profits from selling stuff is irrelevant to them

This is correct. We are serfs to them. Does the king care if the peasants starve? Of course not. They are bringing back feudalism with a thin sheen of tech on top.

This is a good summary, but reads like a direct output of deepseek-r1. The headings and bullet points and wording sounds exactly like the model. Not saying there is no value in the knowledge itself, but this isn't human written.

Thank you for spelling it out so clearly. Sharing wisdom like this, and knowing when that wisdom is wise, is key to getting the word out.

Can you say KGB* disinformation, “active measures,” and strategic deception counterintelligence operations waged against us and our NATO allies ever since Gribanov sent Polyalov to the FBI’s NYC field office in late 1961 to “volunteer” to spy for it at the U.N.? *Today’s SVR and FSB

The people Musk is firing are ALSO unelected.

You didn't have a problem with their undeserved salaries or ruinous effect on democracy.

How it is possible that nobody can hear themselves?

as an assiduous student of history most of this is just pure blather. you were an army linguist? who elected you? what percentage of any bureaucracy is actually elected?

you could make a case his _appointment_ should have gone through congressional confirmation. that's a valid argument. but this is just blather. sheer blather. your credentialism isn't helping you.

it's nice to see the gubmunt honored its contract to you and _paid_ for your education. i wasn't nearly that lucky. shall i put that in my bio? fucked over by the gubmunt? pfew, credentialism out the wazzooo right there.

i'm no fan of Elon by any stretch, you could ascertain that by reading a few of my paltry contributions here, but you won't. All the rabid dogs of the left had to do was not try to ban Elon from social media. NOPE. couldn't do it. they tried to ban him once too often, fucked up his kid, and then HE took off the gloves. still waiting for that small act of contrition from the commies. that bit about pissing off the autistic kid. Elon didn't give two flying fucks about politics until they came after him, that kind of shoots elements of your theory full of holes. ditto Trump. just a glib self-promoter who saw an opening. and here we are.

also, your little accelerationism shtick kind of glosses over the ramp up of, oh, few sloppy... decades? OR... as I would say if I were grading this as a paper, the crux of your argument is not well developed, unsupporrted by fact and largely rhetorical. and that's a fancy term for... hot air. or flimflam. or blather. take your pick.

and then quote... who? that fucking no-neck dude? you serious? you _actually_ serious about this? you're attempting to divine complexity by way of rolling bones but substituted the bones with multisyllabic word salad. all blather. just blather. HEY! look! you have fangirls who love evvvverything your write. good for you.

Thanks for spotlighting the anti-democratic “Dark Enlightenment” ideology that is behind Musk & Co.’s coup. It is their self-legitimation for the grotesque greed and power-lust which animate them. It is also a hellish and ultimately ecocidal vision of our future. In an odd way, it kind of works well with another big and very different ideological strain in the MAGAverse: evangelical millennialism, often bathed in white nationalism, and busily preparing its followers for end days, final judgements, sweeping away the corruption they see as secular society. The “Dark Enlightenment” and the “Dark Rapture” ideologies must both be exposed and relentlessly fought, though the former has hidden more in the shadows until the current power grab.

You forgot one important aspect, which is that people don’t matter. Both ideologies posit that there are too many people on earth, their number needs to be reduced. This “culling” does not happen along racist prejudice, the lines run along class. If you could not create a successful life for yourself, i.e. don’t have enough money and status to survive, then you don’t deserve to live. Thus, death of millions is not an accident, not even collateral damage, it is by design.
